Protein Bread

Hi, there! I am personally very excited to share with you today my favorite bread recipe! I take this bread with me everywhere I go! It’s so versatile and keeps super well!

This bread is packed with plant protein from lentils, and packs a good fiber punch from physllium husk powder. For flour I have used the following: flax, coconut, oat, almond or walnut flours. You can use whatever flour you like best! This bread is filling, and the fiber makes it very satiating and blood sugar balancing. It is dairy and gluten free making it good for those who may have sensitive tummies.

I started making this bread as a young adult who was on the go a lot. It helped me balance my meals, and save money. Lentils are cheap! They are definitely something to add to your weekly menu to cut down on grocery costs and ramp up your health game! They can be made so many different ways! Have fun being creative with them, you may be surprised at what you can make.

I eat this bread by itself, but you can spread on nut butter or make it a sandwich or whatever! I would suggest playing around with the ratios of ingredients and making it your own! Happy bread making!
